DPM Paudel expresses grief over disaster losses, urges public cooperation

KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Bishnu Prasad Paudel has expressed sorrow over the loss of lives and property due to recent natural disasters following days of incessant rain.

DPM Paudel assured that the government will address the dire situation with full force.

Upon returning from his visit to China this afternoon, he urged everyone to contribute and remain patient in resolving the crisis.

After landing at the airport, he proceeded to the ministry to participate in discussions aimed at tackling the situation.

Finance Minister Paudel had departed for China on September 23 at the invitation of China's Vice Premier He Lifeng.
