Turkish Airlines, British Council Nepal launch 2nd edition of 'IELTS Upahar Campaign'

KATHMANDU: Turkish Airlines and the British Council Nepal have announced their collaboration for the second edition of the 'IELTS Upahar Campaign,' an initiative aimed at providing opportunities for IELTS test-takers. As part of this partnership, two lucky winners will receive a one-way ticket to the UK and the USA, courtesy of Turkish Airlines.

The 'IELTS Upahar Campaign' is an ongoing programme by the British Council Nepal to reward and encourage individuals pursuing international education and career opportunities through IELTS, the world's most popular English language proficiency test. This second edition aims to make studying abroad even more accessible.

To participate in this campaign, individuals must book and pay for the IELTS with the British Council. The offer is valid for all IELTS on paper and IELTS on computer registrations paid between September 26 and November 30, for any test dates starting from October 2024 onwards.

Serkan Basar, General Manager of Turkish Airlines Nepal, stated, "We are thrilled to collaborate with the British Council Nepal. Through this campaign, we hope to contribute to the dreams of many Nepali students and professionals aiming to reach international destinations like the UK and the USA."

Pratistha Thapa Rayamajhi, Country Exams Director at British Council Nepal, expressed her enthusiasm for the event, saying, "It is our honour to bring together all our partners and stakeholders for an evening filled with celebration of outstanding performances and their support to the British Council. Their dedication to empowering young Nepalis opens doors to transformative opportunities, and together, we are building a brighter future."
