Lumbini Lions club appoints Shakti Gauchan as consultant coach

KATHMANDU: Lumbini Lions Club, a premier cricket franchise, hosted a special event on Saturday to officially announce former Nepali cricket star Shakti Gauchan as the team's Consultant Coach for the upcoming Nepal Premier League (NPL) season.

The event in Kathmandu brought together players, fans, and media to celebrate the appointment of one of Nepal’s most respected cricketers.

Shakti Gauchan, renowned for his significant contributions to Nepali cricket, brings extensive experience to the Lumbini Lions. A former international all-rounder, Gauchan’s career includes notable performances in ICC World Cricket League matches. His expertise and leadership are expected to be invaluable in guiding the Lumbini Lions to new heights this season.

Expressing his excitement, Shakti Gauchan said, "I’m honoured to join the Lumbini Lions Club as the Consultant Coach.
