KATHMANDU: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) will operate a flight between Kathmandu and Bhairahawa on October 10, Phulpati day of Bada Dashain festival.
The national flag carrier has scheduled the Kathmandu-Bhairahawa-Kathmandu flight to facilitate travel during the festival. This decision follows directives from the Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Badri Prasad Pandey, due to extensive damage to highways and roads from Kathmandu Valley caused by floods and landslides, according to NAC Executive Chair Yubaraj Adhikari.
The NAC's A320 aircraft is set to depart from Kathmandu at 11:00 am and return from Bhairahawa at 12:30 pm. The fare has been set at Rs 7,000 for the Kathmandu to Bhairahawa leg and Rs 3,890 for the return journey.
