KATHMANDU: The British Professional College (BPC), a sister college of The British College (TBC), has announced that Ashutosh Sharma, an ACCA student, has ranked first globally in the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) September 2024 examinations. Sharma achieved a perfect score of 100% in the Financial Reporting paper, making him the first person from Nepal to reach this remarkable milestone.
The ACCA is a globally recognised accountancy body with students and members in 179 countries. By ranking first, Sharma has outperformed thousands of students worldwide who sat for the same exam.
Commenting on Sharma’s achievement, Dipendra K Shrestha, Senior ACCA Programme Manager at BPC, said, “We are thrilled with Sharma’s achievement. BPC is known for producing high-achieving ACCA students, and this world-topper result highlights the quality of our programme. His success is a proud moment for both our college and Nepal.”
Sharma’s outstanding result demonstrates the excellence of BPC’s academic environment and the potential for students to achieve great things on a global level.
