Gold price hits record high at Rs 165,000 per tola in domestic market

KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the domestic market has set a new record today. 

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of gold has increased by Rs 600 per tola (11.6638 grams), reaching Rs 165,000. Fine gold was traded at Rs 164,400 per tola on Friday.

Similarly, the price of silver has increased by Rs 95 per tola. Silver, which was traded at Rs 1,980 per tola on Friday, is now being traded at Rs 2,075 per tola, according to FENEGOSIDA.
