Finance Ministry to enhance business environment

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Finance (MoF) is set to initiate processes to create a commercial and industrial environment in the country. 

During a high management group meeting held today at the Ministry, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Bishnu Prasad Paudel, stated that the Ministry will focus on facilitating the business and industrial environment to enhance capital mobilisation and investment growth.

Minister Paudel directed concerned bodies to increase their capacity for revenue collection and capital expenditure. Revenue Secretary Dinesh Kumar Ghimire mentioned that improving the business and industrial environment would positively impact revenue collection. Head of the Budget Division, Shree Krishna Nepal, informed that there are no resource management issues for the reconstruction of flood damage.

High-ranking officials of the Ministry participated in the meeting.
