Kulekhani-Sisneri road reopens after maintenance work

BAGMATI: Vehicular movement along the Kulekhani-Sisneri road section, connecting Kathmandu to Hetauda, has resumed today. 

Two-way traffic has been restored after completing maintenance work at Simkhola in Indrasarovar Rural Municipality-2, Makawanpur district, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Shyamu Aryal. 

The road was closed for three days to undertake repairs and fix hume pipes at Simkhola. Floods and landslides, triggered by incessant rain in the last week of September, had severely impacted the road.
