Finance Minister departs for US to attend World Bank, IMF meetings

KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel departed for Washington DC, USA, last night to attend the annual meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

The meetings are scheduled to take place from October 21.

According to his secretariat, Finance Minister Paudel will hold bilateral and multilateral meetings during his stay in Washington, D.C., and New York. 

Minister Paudel is scheduled to return home by the end of October.
