KATHMANDU: The government has provided financial assistance to the next of kin of those killed in recent floods, landslides, and inundations.
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA), a total of Rs 50 million has been distributed as relief to the families of the deceased in 23 districts. Each family received Rs 200,000.
In the recent disaster, 238 people across the country lost their lives, 177 were injured, and 18 are still missing. Efforts to provide financial aid to the affected families are ongoing.
