Finance Minister Paudel in Washington DC to attend World Bank, IMF meetings

WASHINGTON DC: Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel has arrived in Washington DC to attend the annual meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund (IMF). 

Charge D'Affaires of the Embassy of Nepal in the US, Kumar Raj Kharel, and embassy officials received the Finance Minister at Dallas International Airport.

Minister Paudel is scheduled to deliver a speech at the meeting and hold separate discussions with his counterparts from various countries, as well as other officials from the World Bank and IMF, according to the Embassy. 

Minister Paudel is also set to engage in discussions with American entrepreneurs and members of the business community.
