Gold price hits record high at Rs 167,400 per tola today
KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the domestic market has set a new record today.
According to Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of gold has increased by Rs 1,400 per tola (11.6638 grams), reaching Rs 167,400. Fine gold was traded at Rs 166,000 per tola on Friday.
Similarly, the price of silver has increased by Rs 15 per tola. Silver, which was traded at Rs 2,070 per tola on Friday, is now being traded at Rs 2,085 per tola, according to FENEGOSIDA.
