FENIE submits concept paper on economic improvements to PM Oli

KATHMANDU: The Federation of Nepalese Industries and Entrepreneurs (FENIE) has submitted a 40-page concept paper to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, addressing common issues faced by the private sector regarding the improvement of the national economy. During a meeting at the Prime Minister's official residence in Baluwatar, Kathmandu on Monday, the delegation, including Bhagirath Sapkota, General Secretary and coordinator of FENIE, presented the concept paper.

The concept paper included findings from the discussion programme organised by FENIE on August 23, focusing on the problems faced by the private sector. The recommendation letter highlighted the tough situation faced by the country's economy and industrialists, urging the government to implement policy reforms immediately.

Prime Minister Oli stated that the government is working in a planned manner to improve the economy, and emphasised that industrialists should also contribute by boosting production and productivity. He suggested that the leaders of organisations should ensure exemplary behaviour.

Also present on the occasion were Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal, the organisation in-charge, co-in-charge Rachana Khadka, and the Prime Minister's economic affairs and development advisor, Yuba Raj Khatiwada.
