DHAKA: Bangladesh exported goods worth $4.13 billion in October, marking a more than 20% increase compared to the same month last year, according to official data released on Sunday.
The Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) reported that earnings from ready-made knitwear and woven garment items surged by over 22% to $3.3 billion during this period.
Total exports for the first four months of the 2024-25 fiscal year (July 2024-June 2025) reached $15.79 billion, up approximately 11% year-on-year, according to the EPB data.
Bangladesh has set its export target for the 2024-25 fiscal year at $50 billion, with $40.48 billion expected to come from ready-made garment products.
