KATHMANDU: Minister for Communication and Information Technology, Prithvi Subba Gurung, has emphasised the strong bilateral ties between Nepal and India, spanning geographical, cultural, social, and educational dimensions.
Speaking at the 'India-Nepal Friendship Summit 2024: Globalisation and Socio-Economic Development' programme held today at Kathmandu Model College in Bagbazar, Minister Gurung highlighted the importance of strengthening the educational relationship between Nepal and India to further enhance mutual knowledge and cooperation.
He expressed that the summit will foster an intellectual and educational environment, helping build educational leadership in bilateral spheres.
During the event, Minister Gurung presented awards to outstanding personalities in various educational fields as a form of encouragement.
The summit was a major project of the Global Leaders Foundation and co-organised by Kathmandu Model College. Ramesh Tripathi, president of the foundation, stated that the summit was organised to facilitate intellectual exchange in the field of education.
