KATHMANDU: Nepal's first digital wallet, IME Pay, has introduced a scheme where users can win a smartphone by linking their bank accounts to the digital wallet.
Through this scheme, IME Pay aims to encourage users to link their bank accounts to the app and experience the convenience of easy digital payments.
Running until 19 January, IME Pay users have the chance to win a smartphone by linking their bank accounts to the app, loading funds directly from the bank account to the IME Pay wallet, and making at least three different payments. One lucky winner will be able to win a smartphone every 15 days.
Users can link their bank accounts directly to the IME Pay app or through Connect IPS. To participate, users need to link an unlinked bank account and make three different payments, excluding sending or loading money.
"This campaign is designed to encourage our users to adopt digital payments and enjoy the benefits of a cashless lifestyle. By linking their bank accounts, users can easily transfer funds, pay various bills, and purchase goods, all from the convenience of their smartphones," said Pravin Regmi, CEO of IME Pay.
