NEA cuts power in Kathmandu under Lazimpat feeder for cable line expansion

KATHMANDU: Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has cut power in areas including Lazimpat, Panipokhari, and Baluwatar in Kathmandu today for cable line expansion.

According to a notice issued by the NEA, the power cut in the area under the Lazimpat feeder of the Maharajgunj Distribution Centre, which began at 11:00 am, will continue until 3:00 pm.

The NEA has apologised for the inconvenience caused to consumers in these areas and acknowledged the service disruption. The NEA stated that if the specified work is completed ahead of schedule, regular power supply may resume before the planned time.
