Omoda & Jaecoo Nepal join NPL 2024 as co-sponsors

KATHMANDU: Omoda & Jaecoo Nepal have signed on as the co-sponsors of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2024, organised by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN).

The sponsorship was announced by CAN at an MoU signing ceremony held on Tuesday. The event was attended by CAN Secretary Paras Khadka, Sharda Group Chairman Shivratan Sharda, Director of SPG Automobiles Gaurav Sharda, and the management teams of SPG Automobiles and NPL.

The inaugural edition of the NPL will take place at the Tribhuvan International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur from November 30 to December 21.

Gaurav Sharda, Director of SPG Automobiles, stated that the involvement of Omoda and Jaecoo Nepal aims to elevate cricket in Nepal. He expressed that the partnership is expected to enhance the development of Nepali cricket and leverage the cricketing scenario in the country.

Cricket, being one of the most followed sports in Nepal, provides a powerful platform to connect with passionate fans. This sponsorship will significantly promote the development of cricket, contribute to the league’s growth and success in the long run, and help young Nepali players gain international experience.
