KATHMANDU: The ‘Bajaj Mileage Champions’ event took place in Gaur Municipality, Rautahat district, on Sunday.
Bajaj Platina motorcycle riders from across Nepal participated to showcase the highest mileage capacity of their motorcycles.
Lokesh Kumar Chaurasia secured first place with an impressive performance of 99 kilometres per litre. Mukesh Kumar Sah came second with 94 km per litre, and Roushan Ali Yadav achieved third place with 90 km per litre.
The event highlighted the fuel-saving and reliable features of the Bajaj Platina while fostering a sense of community and friendly competition among Bajaj enthusiasts.
Participants aimed to cover the maximum distance at the minimum cost, promoting the fuel efficiency and reliability of the Bajaj Platina and encouraging unity and friendly competition among Bajaj bike lovers in Nepal.
Bajaj's Area Sales Manager, Bijay Singh, stated that the event aimed to inform the general customer segment about mileage, particularly given the recent increase in petroleum prices. He noted that the 100 cc Platina motorcycle would be the champion in terms of mileage.
The event also provided information on the advantages of riding the Platina at a time when the new generation tends to prefer motorcycles that consume more petrol. It was inaugurated at Garuda Sugar Mills ground at 10:00 am on Sunday.
The general public was also invited to participate, with the company announcing awards for the best participants.
