He stated, “We are extremely grateful to be associated with an international level and Nepal's leading private telecommunications service provider like Ncell as the title sponsor. We are confident that this partnership will make a significant contribution to the development of Nepali cricket. The support of a prestigious brand like Ncell will further strengthen our team and take Nepali cricket to new heights.”

Ncell’s CEO Kayumov shared his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “We have always been committed to the development of Nepali cricket and young talent, and this collaboration is a shining example of that. We believe that this partnership with Lumbini Lions will further strengthen this commitment. We are very excited to collaborate with Lumbini Lions with the aim of taking Nepali cricket to new heights based on our theme of ‘Here For You’. We want to reach new heights by contributing to the development of sports, youth empowerment, and social cohesion.”

Linking this cricket festival with social work, Ncell Foundation recently announced that for every four runs scored in the NPL, four educational kits will be provided to students from rural and remote areas. Ncell has made significant contributions to the development and empowerment of the Nepali community for a long time. As the main sponsor of Lumbini Lions, this collaboration is expected to have a positive impact on the Nepali sports sector, develop Nepali cricket, and make a tangible contribution to encouraging young talent.

Lumbini Lions' first match in the NPL will be held against Biratnagar Kings on Wednesday. The NPL, which started on Saturday, will continue at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground until 21 December. Eight teams are participating in the NPL.
