Linking this cricket festival with social work, Ncell Foundation recently announced that for every four runs scored in the NPL, four educational kits will be provided to students from rural and remote areas. Ncell has made significant contributions to the development and empowerment of the Nepali community for a long time. As the main sponsor of Lumbini Lions, this collaboration is expected to have a positive impact on the Nepali sports sector, develop Nepali cricket, and make a tangible contribution to encouraging young talent.
Lumbini Lions' first match in the NPL will be held against Biratnagar Kings on Wednesday. The NPL, which started on Saturday, will continue at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground until 21 December. Eight teams are participating in the NPL.
