Meanwhile, IME has launched a new campaign, 'IME Garaun Udhyami Banau', an initiative aimed at transforming remittances from mere consumption support into a catalyst for long-term growth and prosperity. Announcing the campaign, IME's Chairman Hem Raj Dhakal shared that this initiative aims to encourage the migrant workforce, remittance-receiving households, and the community to use remittances productively, fostering entrepreneurship and driving the development of a sustainable economy. It inspires the migrant workforce to earn, save, and establish their own businesses back home.

Chairman Dhakal emphasised the importance of linking remittances with entrepreneurship to promote sustainable economic growth. Highlighting the crucial role of skills acquired abroad in fostering entrepreneurship within the country, he urged both the overseas workforce and remittance-receiving families to invest in productive sectors, ensuring not only individual success but also the nation’s long-term development.

IME CEO Dibakar Paudel expressed optimism that this campaign will encourage customers to use formal remittance channels, invest in enterprises, and adopt digital transactions through IME Pay.

For over two decades, IME Remit has been a leader in providing reliable and efficient remittance solutions. With a vast network of over 35,000 sub-agents across all 77 districts of Nepal, including IME centres and branches of leading banks and financial institutions (BFIs), the company ensures that the hard-earned money of Nepali diaspora reaches their loved ones swiftly and securely.
