CIT now offers Home, Easy loans directly from branches

KATHMANDU: Participants of Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) can now directly obtain Home Loans and Easy Loans from branch offices.

CIT has made arrangements for Home and Easy loans up to a certain amount to be provided at all CIT branch offices, aiming to simplify access for participants from locations outside the capital city. Previously, branch offices had to send loan documents to the central office for approval. Under the new system, loans up to a specific amount can be processed directly at the branch office, making the loan transaction process more convenient for recipients.

In addition, CIT has increased the loan limit to 90% of the participants' savings amount, up from the previous limit of 80% of the savings accumulated in the participant’s name.
