Nepal, China sign BRI Cooperation Framework
BEIJING: Nepal and China signed the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) Cooperation Framework today in Beijing.
Acting Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai and Deputy Head of China's National Development and Reform Commission, Liu Sushe, signed the document on behalf of their respective countries.
The signing ceremony occurred on the third day of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's four-day official visit to the People's Republic of China, at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart, Li Qiang.
