KATHMANDU: Embark College, a collaborative venture between Nepal’s renowned Golchha Group and Glocal, an organisation with over a decade of experience in youth, skill, and education development, has officially commenced its journey.
Situated in Pulchowk area of Lalitpur, Embark College aims to set new standards in entrepreneurship, modern education, and skill-based learning. Having received approval from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST) on November 27, 2024, the college has announced academic programmes in partnership with the University of Roehampton, London (UK), ranked in the top 15% globally. These programmes include a 4-year BSc in Business Management and a 2-year MBA, with admissions already underway for a January intake.
Embark College operates a state-of-the-art facility in Pulchowk to provide a world-class educational experience. The college is designed to be technology-friendly and student-centred, prioritising quality education while offering 10% full scholarships, including university fees, as per the directives of the MoEST.
The college aims to nurture entrepreneurial thinking and self-reliance among students by offering practical and industry-relevant education. The Roehampton curriculum and Embark College’s industry connections emphasise hands-on knowledge and skills, ensuring students are well-versed in entrepreneurial culture. The programme incorporates theoretical studies alongside real-world projects, fostering active participation through class discussions, presentations, and teamwork. A weekly evaluation system ensures continuous improvement, while students are also encouraged to develop life skills and take on social responsibilities to strengthen community ties.
