KATHMANDU: Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Damodar Bhandari, today departed for a five-day official visit to the Republic of Korea.
The visit marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Nepal and South Korea. According to Minister Bhandari's Secretariat, the visit aims to reach various agreements to strengthen bilateral ties.
During the visit, Minister Bhandari and the South Korean Minister of State are expected to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on trade and investment.
The discussions will also focus on inviting Korean investors to invest in Nepal, according to Ananda Bhatta, Minister Bhandari's personal secretary.
