Finance Minister Paudel departs for Thailand to participate in ESCAP meet

KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Bishnu Prasad Paudel, has departed for Thailand to participate in a high-level consultation meeting aimed at promoting the economic growth of the Asia-Pacific region.

The meeting, organised by the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), is scheduled for December 17 and 18.

ESCAP is the most inclusive intergovernmental platform in the Asia-Pacific region.
