Bangladesh Ambassador pays farewell call on PM Oli

KATHMANDU: Ambassador of Bangladesh to Nepal, Salahuddin Noman Chowdhury, paid a farewell call on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at his office in Singha Durbar today.

Prime Minister Oli thanked Ambassador Chowdhury for his contributions to enhancing the mutual ties between the two countries. PM Oli also expressed his confidence that Bangladesh will soon achieve stability following its current interim political situation.

Ambassador Chowdhury shared that Bangladesh has learned from Nepal's peace process and political changes. Various topics of bilateral interest and cooperation were also discussed during the meeting.

Foreign Ministry officials were present at the occasion. Ambassador Chowdhury is returning home upon the completion of his term in Nepal.
