KATHMANDU: The ‘Bajaj Mileage Champions’ event successfully concluded in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City, Kailali district, on Friday.
Riders from Dhangadhi participated in the event, showcasing the highest mileage capacity of their Bajaj Platina motorcycles, according to the Bajaj company.
The event took place at the Truck Business Building in Chatakpur Chowk within the sub-metropolis.
Rider Ram Dayal Rana secured first place in the Mileage Champions competition with an impressive performance of 88 kilometres per litre. Nar Bahadur Saud finished second with a performance of 85 km per litre, while Chatra Bhandari came third with a performance of 84 km per litre.
The riders aimed to cover the maximum distance at the minimum cost using a specified amount of fuel.
The event highlighted the fuel-saving and reliable features of the Bajaj Platina while fostering a sense of community and friendly competition among Bajaj enthusiasts. About 100 people participated in the programme, according to the company.
Bajaj's Area Sales Manager, Rabin Khatri, stated that the Champions event was organised to inform the general customer segment about the mileage of the Bajaj Platina. He also mentioned that a mileage champion event for the 100 CC Platina motorcycle would be organised in the future.
