Iconic Javed Habib Salon opened in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: The iconic Javed Habib Salon franchise has officially opened its doors in Kathmandu. The stylish new outlet, located at Thamel's Chhaya Center, held its grand inauguration on Friday, led by none other than the celebrity barber Javed Habib himself.

This new salon marks the beginning of a fresh chapter for Javed Habib’s global brand, which aims not only to deliver top-notch beauty services but also to train and mentor the next generation of professionals in the industry. “The goal is to create a pipeline of skilled talent and to offer a unique experience that sets us apart in Nepal’s competitive beauty market,” Javed stated at the event. Despite presence of other salons in Nepal, he assured that the quality of service and customer care at Javed Habib Salon will be a cut above the rest.

During his maiden visit to Nepal, Javed lauded the country's hospitality and vibrant culture. “It’s an honour to open a Javed Habib Salon in Nepal. The warmth I have received from the people here is unforgettable,” he expressed, sharing his enthusiasm about the brand's potential in the Nepali market. The Nepali branch of Javed Habib Salon is headed by Sonam Lama, who disclosed that the establishment was set up with an investment of around Rs 5 million.

The salon offers a wide array of services, including haircuts, beauty treatments, global colouring, highlights, facials, nail care, and more.
