KATHMANDU: President Ramchandra Paudel has urged the three tiers of government (federal, provincial, and local) and other stakeholders to support the humanity promotion campaign of Manavsewa Ashram.

Speaking at the documentary presentation programme titled Mechi-Mahakali Rastriya Uddhar Yatra-2081 (Mechi-Mahakali National Rescue Journey-2081) alongside office bearers, activists, and employees of Manavsewa Ashram at the Office of the President on Sunday, President Paudel emphasised that good deeds make human life meaningful.

He highlighted that service to humanity will inspire society, which is currently experiencing a decline in humanity and morality, to move in the right direction. He commended the work being carried out by Manavsewa Ashram to free street-dependent people through a mission. President Paudel praised the activism shown for the management of street-dependent individuals in need of help through the 'Humanity Promotion Mega Campaign', which includes medical treatment, upbringing, and life protection, as inspiring for everyone.

This mega campaign by the Ashram has facilitated the rescue, protection, and rehabilitation of street-dependent people and underscored the need for collective commitment to declare and implement Nepal as a street-dependent people-free nation.

During the programme, Manavsewa Ashram President Ramjee Adhikari submitted the report of Mechi-Mahakali Rastriya Uddhar Yatra-2081 to President Paudel.

On the occasion, the President honoured the Ashram's Founder President Adhikari and central Treasurer Homnath Timalsina with garlands.
