Estonian Ambassador to Nepal Kivi calls on Minister Bhusal

KATHMANDU: Newly appointed Ambassador of Estonia to Nepal, Ketrin Kivi, has paid a courtesy call on Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Pampha Bhusal. During the meeting held at the Ministry today, they discussed various issues of mutual relations and interest. On the occasion, Minister Bhusal stressed the need of promoting the arrival of tourists for further expansion of relations between the two countries at the people's level. She said both Nepal and Estonia shared similar views on the multilateral forum of the world and pointed out the need for further collaboration in days to come. The Energy Minister shared that Nepal is an important sector for hydropower investment. She also urged the government and private sectors of Estonia to invest in Nepal. She said Nepal is continuously involved in hydropower development. Minister Bhusal expressed her belief that the relations between the two countries will be expanded in days to come. Ambassador Kivi mentioned that Estonia could collaborate with Nepal on the issue of e-commerce. She said a discussion at the government level was necessary for the same.
