JEC to hold IT fair at Techspire College for high school students on Feb 1

KATHMANDU: Junior Entrepreneurship Circle (JEC) has announced the JEC IT Mela 2025, a one-day event for high school students, set to be held at Techspire College, New Baneshwor, on February 1.

The event promises an immersive experience in the world of technology, featuring hands-on activities, tech demonstrations, and discussions with industry experts.

As a non-profit organisation, JEC focuses on promoting entrepreneurship and personal growth among high school students. 

JEC IT Mela 2025 will provide a platform for students to explore emerging IT trends and innovations.

Key highlights of the event include tech talks by leading IT professionals, such as Rajib Subba, a cybersecurity expert, and Ismaran Duwadi, Co-Founder of Code Himalaya, who will share insights into IT trends and career opportunities.

The exhibitions will showcase live demonstrations of AR/VR, AI, robotics, and other cutting-edge technologies. A robotics competition with a prize pool of Rs 20,000 will offer students a chance to showcase their skills.

Additionally, mentorship sessions will provide personalised guidance from IT sector experts, helping students explore potential career paths.

The event will also offer valuable networking opportunities with peers, mentors and industry professionals, along with entertainment and refreshments to ensure the day is both educational and enjoyable.
