Paudel underscored RBB's role in achieving the government's rapid economic development goals, directing the bank to mobilise its liquidity for production, productivity growth, and job creation. He noted that 32 laws have been revised through ordinances to ensure quality service delivery, promote good governance, and attract foreign investment. He stressed that institutional progress and goodwill should be the top priorities for the bank's management and employees, urging them to strive for 'exceptional results' through hard work and dedication.

Similarly, Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari refuted rumours of a crisis among some banks and financial institutions (BFIs), reassuring the public that NRB is effectively managing banking issues. He guaranteed the safety of deposits in BFIs and urged people not to be swayed by 'rumours'.

RBB CEO Devendra Raman Khanal highlighted RBB's success in today's competitive market through innovative thinking and determination.

On the occasion, Finance Minister Paudel inaugurated the newly constructed buildings of the Kohalpur and Mahendranagar branches and the digital transaction facilities of 27 branches through virtual means. He also unveiled a souvenir, 'Upahar 2081', published by the bank. Employees who completed 20 years of service were honoured with the 'Long-Service Medal' (Dirgha Sewa Padak), along with outstanding staff, branch offices, and the most senior retired employee.
