Health insurance will be raised to Rs 5 lakh: Health Minister Paudel 

BHAKTAPUR: Minister for Health and Population, Pradip Paudel, has said the health insurance coverage amount will be increased from Rs 100,000 to Rs 500,000.

Speaking at a programme organised in Bhaktapur, on Sunday, Minister Paudel stated, "I will arrange Rs 500,000 for health insurance, which will tangibly help patients in need."

He emphasised the necessity of operating insurance services solely through an integrated, one-door system.

Minister Paudel further shared that he is progressing to raise the insurance amount to Rs 500,000 and manage it in a manner that benefits patients.
