Grande International Hospital provides home healthcare services to nearly 3,000 patients in 3 years

KATHMANDU: Grande International Hospital, based in Tokha, Kathmandu, has provided healthcare services to nearly 3,000 patients at their homes over the past three years.

The hospital launched the 'Grande at Home' service in January 2022, to mark its ninth anniversary, with the aim of delivering healthcare to patients at their residences. 

According to Assistant General Manager Archana Pradhan, the hospital has provided home healthcare services to 2,755 patients so far. She mentioned that this service primarily targets people with disabilities, elderly citizens, and chronically ill patients.

In 2022, Grande served 755 patients; in 2023, it served 900 patients; and in 2024, it reached 1,100 patients through home healthcare. The services offered under 'Grande at Home' include blood, stool, and urine testing, doctor consultations, medication services, stitch removal, PCR tests, wound dressing, and physiotherapy, among others.

Established in 2069 BS in Tokha, the hospital currently provides international standard healthcare services with over 200 beds. It operates through 34 departments, offering a wide range of healthcare services to patients.
