KATHMANDU: Smart Choice Technologies (SCT) has successfully conducted its 23rd annual general meeting (AGM).
The AGM approved the annual report, auditor's report, balance sheet, profit and loss account, and cash flow statement for the fiscal year 2023/24.
During the AGM, five directors were unanimously elected for the upcoming term: Robin Kumar Nepal and Sabin Dhakal from IME, Rashmi Pant from Prabhu Bank, Anil Joshi from Global IME Bank, and Subhas Gyawali from City Express.
The board of directors held a meeting and re-elected Rabin Kumar Nepal as Chairman and appointed Mrigendra Pradhan as an independent director.
SCT, licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) and promoted by various banks and financial institutions (BFIs) and remittance companies, continues to provide digital payment services.
SCT-UnionPay, VISA, Mastercard, Diners, and other cards are accepted and issued by SCT.
The SCT offers Smart QR, mobile banking services, and inter-bank transfer services. The institution currently servs more than 21 BFIs and over 100 cooperatives.
