159 Nepali students return home from India's KIIT

BIRGUNJ: In the wake of tragic and suspicious death of Nepali student Prakriti Lamsal at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) in Odisha, India, a total of 159 Nepali students have returned home via Raxaul border.

Suman Kumar Karki, Assistant Chief District Officer of Parsa district, confirmed that the students arrived home through the Raxaul border point on Thursday evening.

Meanwhile, in Birgunj, a candlelight rally was organised by the youth on Thursday evening. They called for justice for the late Prakriti Lamsal and Rinku Sada, who was murdered following a rape incident in Siraha district.
