APF personnel, their families to get 20 pc discount on tickets for cable car under IME Group

KATHMANDU: Armed Police Force (APF), Nepal personnel and their families will get a discount on buying tickets for Chandragiri Hills, Maulakali cable car and Lumbini cable car — the companies under IME Group. APF, Nepal Headquarters and the three cable car companies on June 22 signed an agreement for providing discounts to APF personnel. As per the agreement, active armed police personnel, retired armed police personnel, families depending on them as well as teachers and other staff working at Nepal APF School will get 20% discount on cable car ticket prices. To get the discount, active personnel will have to show the identity card provided by the relevant office and the retired ones will have to show the pension certificate while their families will have to produce proof of relationship. The agreement was signed by APF Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Praveen Kandel and company representatives Rudra Paudel on behalf of Maulakali Cable Car and Lumbini Cable Car, General Manager Sanjiv Thapa on behalf of Chandragiri Hills. APF Additional Inspector General (AIG) Narayan Dutta Poudel, Abhishek Bikram Shah, Director of Best Resort Nepal under IME, and representatives of IME Group and APF attended the signing ceremony.
