inDrive retains 2nd spot globally for most downloaded ride-hailing app in 2024

• The ride-hailing app ranks 1st in Nepal's Travel & Navigation category

KATHMANDU: inDrive, a global mobility and urban services platform operating in 48 countries, has once again been recognised as the world’s second most downloaded ride-hailing app. This marks its sustained growth throughout 2024, maintaining the position for a third consecutive year, according to the market intelligence firm Sensor Tower.

The platform also achieved first place in Nepal in the Travel & Navigation category, cementing its strong presence and growing popularity in the market. It was the leading ride-hailing app in Nepal by number of downloads and ranked fifth globally in the Travel & Navigation category.

In December 2024 alone, the inDrive app was downloaded over 6.1 million times. With its peer-to-peer pricing model, inDrive offers affordable transportation options for passengers while ensuring fair earning opportunities for drivers in 888 cities. The company continues to expand its services beyond mobility.

Last year, inDrive launched a trial of its financial services initiative, inDrive.Money, in Mexico and Colombia, aimed at improving lending accessibility for drivers. Aligned with its mission to positively impact the lives of at least 1 billion people by 2030, inDrive plans to scale this service to additional regions later this year.
