Xiaomi 15 Ultra with Leica cameras, Snapdragon 8 Elite launched in Nepal

KATHMANDU: Xiaomi, the global technology leader, has launched the Xiaomi 15 Ultra in Nepal, marking a new era in smartphone photography and performance. The unveiling took place at the 'Xiaomi Presents Sushant KC Live in concert,' combining technology and entertainment.

Xiaomi Nepal celebrated with an event attended by over 15,000 spectators. Sushant KC performed live, and Anna Sharma unveiled the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. Hosted by Sanjay Gupta, the event was captured using the Leica-powered cameras of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, showcasing its exceptional photography capabilities.

Speaking at the launch, Manu Manaswi, Country General Manager of Xiaomi Nepal, said, “We are thrilled to introduce the Xiaomi 15 Ultra in Nepal, a true pinnacle of mobile innovation. With the power of Xiaomi HyperOS and Leica optics, we believe the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will set new benchmarks in mobile imaging and performance.”

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra features a Leica Summilux optical lens with comprehensive focal length coverage. The Leica quad-camera system includes a 1-inch main sensor and a 200MP ultra telephoto lens, delivering industry-leading photography experiences.

Powered by the Snapdragon® 8 Elite Mobile Platform and Xiaomi HyperOS, the device offers enhanced performance and efficiency. The Xiaomi Shield Glass 2.0 and the All-Around Liquid Display with a 6.73” WQHD+ AMOLED panel provide durability and an immersive viewing experience.

Xiaomi’s partnership with Leica allows users to master light, speed, and distance with the ƒ/1.63 Summilux lens and the Leica 200MP ultra telephoto lens. The device supports 8K video recording, Leica photographic styles, and Xiaomi ProFocus for professional-grade videography and photography.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra includes the Xiaomi Guardian Structure for enhanced resilience, a 6M42 aluminium frame, Corning® Gorilla® Glass 7i camera deco, and a durable back panel. The wraparound quad-curved frame and integrated 3D camera deco elevate the design.

With Xiaomi HyperAI, users can experience AI Writing, AI Speech Recognition, AI Interpreter, and AI Creativity Assistant. The device integrates Circle to Search with Google and Google Gemini AI. Additionally, ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint recognition and AI face unlock ensure security.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is equipped with a 5410mAh Xiaomi Surge Battery, supported by 90W HyperCharge and 80W wireless HyperCharge.

Xiaomi Nepal has announced the pre-booking of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, co-engineered with Leica, from March 9 to 15. Customers will receive a complimentary Xiaomi 50W Wireless Charging Stand worth Rs 9,999 as a pre-booking offer.

Priced at an inaugural offer of Rs 149,999 (down from Rs 169,999) for the 16GB+512GB variant, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is available at authorised Mi Stores and Xiaomi Authorised Retail outlets across Nepal.
