vivo unveils V50 with ZEISS cameras, opens prebooking
KATHMANDU: vivo has officially unveiled its flagship smartphone, the V50, in Nepal. Designed in collaboration with ZEISS, the device offers cutting-edge portrait photography, sleek aesthetics, and long-lasting battery performance.
The V50 features a revolutionary 50MP ZEISS All Main Camera system that ensures flagship-level clarity across all lenses. The ZEISS OIS Main Camera, with its 1/1.55” super-sensitive large sensor, captures sharp and vibrant images, even in low-light conditions. It also boasts a 119° Ultra Wide-Angle Camera for expansive shots, while the 50MP ZEISS Group Selfie Camera delivers high-quality self-portraits with a 92° wide-angle autofocus lens.
Enhancing photography further, the V50 includes AI Aura Light Portrait 2.0 for ultra-soft fill lighting and ZEISS Multifocal Portrait framing options at 23mm, 35mm, and 50mm, allowing users to create professional-grade depth effects. The ZEISS Style Bokeh collection adds artistic blur effects for cinematic portraits.
For videography, the device supports 4K ultra-clear recording on all cameras alongside creative tools such as AI Erase 2.0, Live Cutout, Film Camera Mode, and Live Photo.
The V50’s quad-curved display, with a 41° golden curvature, provides an immersive viewing experience and comfortable grip. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon® 7 Gen 3 processor, the V50 offers 15% faster CPU performance and 50% enhanced GPU capabilities. Its 12GB RAM + 12GB Extended RAM ensures seamless multitasking and gaming.
The device is equipped with a 6000mAh BlueVolt Battery, complemented by 90W FlashCharge technology, providing 6 hours of talk time or 3 hours of video streaming with just a 10-minute charge. Built for durability, it features IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, drop protection, and scratch resistance.
Available in Starry Blue and Satin Black, the V50 is priced at Rs. 67,999 in Nepal. Prebooking is open until March 24, with customers receiving free vivo TWS earbuds upon prebooking. The official sale begins on March 25 via vivo retail stores and the Daraz online platform.
