Call for making Birgunj an economic capital

BIRGINJ: Chairperson of Aam Janata Party, Prabhu Sah, has called for the development of Birgunj, an industrial and trade town, into the economic capital of the country.

Sah stated that the town exhibits sufficient economic activity, highlighting its potential to be established as the nation's economic capital.

Speaking at a press meet organised by the party in Birgunj today, the House of Representatives (HoR) member Sah stressed the need for cooperation between the government and the private sector to drive the country's economic development.

"The size of the country's internal and external loans is snowballing," he said, emphasising the importance of adopting policies to promote domestic industries and factories.
