Nissan reveals launch schedules for 7-seater B-MPV, 5-seater C-SUV in India, Nepal

GURUGRAM: Nissan Motor India has announced the addition of an all-new 7-seater B-MPV to its product line-up. The company showcased two upcoming products for India at the recently concluded Global Product Showcase Event in Yokohama, Japan.

The announcement is in line with Nissan's strategy to reshape its offerings in India, addressing the rising aspirations of customers. The plan targets high-growth segments such as B-MPV and C-SUV, complementing the existing B-SUV segment led by the Nissan Magnite. Pioneer Moto Corp, the authorised distributor of Nissan in Nepal, has confirmed these products will also be introduced in the Nepali market.

The first step in Nissan’s product offensive is the global reveal of the 7-seater B-MPV (multi-purpose vehicle), slated for launch in fiscal year 2025 (FY25), marking a new addition to the Indian portfolio.

Following this, Nissan plans to launch the previously announced 5-seater C-SUV (compact sports utility vehicle) in early fiscal year 2026 (FY26). Two new teasers released by Nissan confirm the developments and timelines of both vehicles. The company aims to offer four products for Indian customers by FY26 across the B/C and D-SUV segments.

The C-SUV, inspired by the iconic Nissan Patrol, is designed to embody Nissan SUV DNA, delivering robust reliability, premium craftsmanship, and cutting-edge technology that the brand is globally recognised for.
