KATHMANDU: Leapmotor, partially owned by Stellantis, achieved a significant milestone in March 2025, becoming the leading seller among Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) startups.
The company delivered 37,095 vehicles in March, outperforming other Chinese electrified-vehicle startups. This represents a 46.7% increase compared to February and a 154% year-on-year growth. Leapmotor's total deliveries for the first quarter of 2025 reached 87,552 vehicles. The company is set to launch its B10 SUV on 10 April, a move expected to further boost its sales performance.

In Nepal, two Leapmotor models, the C10 and T03, are currently available. The brand is exclusively imported by Shangrila Motors, which has been the authorised sole importer of Peugeot since 2017, Citroën since 2021, and now Leapmotor. This reflects Shangrila Motors’ dedication to introducing world-class automotive brands to the Nepali market.
