Boeing jet flies back to US as China halts deliveries over tariffs
KATHMANDU: A Boeing jet that arrived in Shanghai last month was flying back to the United States, flight tracking data showed on Friday. This suggests that a Chinese airline may be stopping deliveries of Boeing planes due to US tariffs, according to Reuters.
Earlier in the week, reports said China might ban Boeing imports as part of its growing trade war with US President Donald Trump over his global tariffs. However, industry experts say it is still unclear what the exact rules are.
