Xiaomi launches Redmi A5 in Nepal with high-performance features, 2-year warranty
KATHMANDU: Xiaomi, the global technology leader, has launched the Redmi A5 in Nepal, a feature-packed smartphone designed to deliver clear photos, long battery life, smooth operation, and an eye-catching design. Built to meet users’ everyday needs, the Redmi A5 provides a comprehensive smartphone experience.
The Redmi A5 features a 32MP dual camera system, a 6.88-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 5200mAh battery, and an octa-core processor. With its night photography capabilities, eye comfort display, sleek design, dynamic memory expansion, and durable build, the Redmi A5 is designed to meet daily requirements at an affordable price.

The Redmi A5’s 32MP AI dual rear camera captures sharp and detailed photos, while a camera watermark feature allows images to stand out. The 8MP front camera includes a fill light for clearer selfies in low light.
The device includes a 6.88-inch display with a 120Hz AdaptiveSync refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate, offering a smooth visual experience. Slim at 8.26mm and lightweight at 193g, the Redmi A5 features a flat frame and modern design in Ocean Blue, Sandy Gold, and Midnight Black.
Powered by a 5200mAh battery, the Redmi A5 provides up to 1.45 days of usage, 20.7 hours of video playback, or 14.24 hours of reading on a single charge. It supports 15W fast charging.
The UNISOC T7250 octa-core processor and dynamic memory expansion ensure smooth operation, offering up to 8GB of RAM. The device scores over 260,000 on the AnTuTu benchmark.
The Redmi A5 offers a 2-year warranty and passes rigorous durability tests, including 300 roller tests, 10,000 USB tests, and 5,000 headphone jack tests. It runs on Android 15 (Go Edition) for a lighter, faster experience.
Available in 3GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB variants, the Redmi A5 is priced at Rs 10,999 and Rs 11,999, respectively. It will be available through authorised Mi Stores and Xiaomi retailers nationwide.
