KATHMANDU: Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) President Chandra Prasad Dhakal has called on non-resident Nepalis (NRNs) and Nepali migrant workers abroad to contribute part of their earnings towards the development of Nepal, emphasising the country's significant investment potential.
Speaking at an event in Abu Dhabi, UAE, on Saturday, Dhakal urged NRNs and migrant workers to consider investing in Nepal, highlighting that various sectors offer substantial returns.
“Substantial benefits can be gained in Nepal if we invest and work as diligently as we do abroad,” he said, while commending the recent legal and policy reforms introduced by the government to create an investment-friendly environment.
The event was attended by the Minister for Health and Population, Pradip Paudel, Nepal's Ambassador to the UAE, Tej Bahadur Chhetri, and other notable figures.
