FNCCI’s 56th AGM underway on Industry and Commerce Day

KATHMANDU: Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) is holding its 56th annual general meeting (AGM) on the occasion of Industry and Commerce Day today. FNCCI President Shekhar Golchha delivered the welcome speech. House Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota has been invited as the chief guest at the AGM. He inaugurated the 56th AGM, and Industry and Commerce Day. Following the inauguration programme, he was scheduled to address the AGM. Likewise, Senior Vice President of FNCCI, Chandra Prasad Dhakal, will also address the AGM. The AGM will be continued on Tuesday as well. FNCCI President Golchha is scheduled to address the AGM tomorrow. Similarly, the organisation's Director General Meena Shrestha will present the annual report-2078 while treasurer Sukunta Lal Hirachan will present the organisation's audit report and the final account. FNCCI is the nationally and internationally recognised umbrella organisation of business in Nepal. The representative body of business organisations in the country represents the interests of the private sector and is involved in the promotion of socio-economic development in Nepal through private sector-led economic growth.
