KATHMANDU: Ramada Encore by Wyndham, an upscale hotel, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Impact Yes, a consultancy providing assessment, training, and implementation of training at the executive and Head of Department level, on Wednesday.
The MoU was signed by Mahesh Phuyal, General Manager of Ramada Encore, along with Kovid Panthy and Kim Baaden, founders of Impact Yes. Phuyal stated that the partnership aims to better understand the expectations of guests visiting Ramada from around the world.
After an initial assessment period, the collaboration will introduce psychology-driven training programmes for leaders at Ramada Encore. Training is scheduled for May and June, followed by implementation.
Baaden described the agreement as an opportunity for the hotel to advance its operations and elevate standards from professional to elite, stating, “Impact Yes stands for human progress.” Panthy added that the Leadership Executive Development Programme has the potential to expand rapidly throughout the hotel industry in Nepal.
Panthy remarked, “Manpower leaves opportunities, primarily because of bad leadership.” This partnership seeks to provide training to address this issue.
