KATHMANDU: Wai Wai Noodles has implemented the 'Wholesaler Gift Scheme' targeting wholesalers in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur, offering rewards through a lucky draw. Under the scheme, wholesalers received a yellow coupon for every 50 cartons of Wai Wai noodles purchased and a green coupon for every 500 cartons purchased, granting them an opportunity to win various prizes. Wai Wai had announced that lucky winners could receive a NETA V car, Hero XPulse motorcycle, LG TV, LG refrigerator, Sashwat Dham visit package, and smartwatch.
As part of the scheme, Rameshwar Tiwari, operator of Tiwari Store in Jorati, Kathmandu, won the grand prize—a NETA V car. CG Foods CEO Pradip Pudasaini handed over the car to Tiwari during a special programme organised in Lalitpur on Wednesday. Expressing his excitement, Tiwari said, "Wai Wai has now become the first choice of noodles for every Nepali. I am very grateful for this prize. Such encouragement further motivates wholesalers."
Other winners under the scheme include KAB Store, Ram and Ganesh Store, and Hamro Store from Kathmandu, Ujjwal Store from Bhaktapur, and Prakash Pradhan from Lalitpur, who each won Hero XPulse motorcycles. Additionally, five wholesalers in Kathmandu Valley won 55" LG TVs, 10 wholesalers won LG refrigerators, 50 people won Sashwat Dham visit packages, and 70 won smartwatches.
Speaking at the programme, CEO Pudasaini credited Wai Wai’s success to the support of Nepali consumers and distribution partners. "At Wai Wai, we are committed to our customers, wholesalers, and retailers. Our goal is to continuously focus on quality products and address consumer aspirations," said Pudasaini.
